Terms and Conditions

To better serve students and have outstanding service, a contract must be signed and agreed before any tutoring service is provided. Please take the time to read throughout the following points before signing the contract.

Scheduling Time

To ensure that your time and the other students is respected, tutoring appointments will promptly begin at their pre-scheduled time regardless of the time of your arrival. No adjustment to fee shall be made for the time lost because of late arrival or by early termination of the tutoring session by the student. (e.j. If you arrival late 10 minutes or terminate the session early, EP tutoring will be unable to extend the time of the session in the case of late arrival or reimbursement of the tutoring fee in the case of early termination.)

Deposit and Cancellation Notice

EP Tutoring requires a deposit of $25.00 for each student that has regular pre-scheduled appointments.The deposit is due at the start of the first appointment. The deposit may be returned when the Tutorʼs services are no longer needed. If the deposit is not picked up within 30 days of the last session, the student will forfeit the deposit. Any student that cancels his or her appointment with less than a 24-hour notice will lose the deposit and must provide another deposit prior to the next appointment.

Cancelation can be made bycalling 915.600.2704, sending email to cancelations@elpasotutoring.com or by filling out the cancleation form in our website.

Deposit will not be needed If a package of hours is paid in advance. However, no reimbursement will be made in case of cancelation in part or in full scheduled sessions after the first tutoring session or if notice is not given 24 hours before the first scheduled sessions. Scheduled session may be re-scheduled with a 24-hour notice of cancelation prior to the session to be rescheduled. Session may be re-scheduled one time only, if the re-scheduled session is missed, no refund or reschedule will be made.

If EP Tutoring or specific tutor has to end the tutoring relationship for some reason, EP tutoring will try the very best to give sufficient notice and provide referrals to the student if requested.


Payment is due at the beginning of the tutoring session. Prices quoted are based on cash payment. Payments made using debit or any major credit card such Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express or PayPal, a 2.9% surcharge will apply.

Legal Stuff
Obligation of the Tutor

  • The Tutor structures session to optimize time to benefit the student
  • The Tutor shall not assign any tutor’s duties or obligations under this tutoring contract to a third party without the verbal permission of the student.
  • The Tutor shall at no time be required or obligated to execute homework or assignments on behalf of the student.

Obligation of the Student

  • The student shall assist the Tutor in identifying problem areas in which the student needs specific tutoring.
  • The student agrees to provide his or her own materials needed for each tutoring session such books, notes paper, other relevant study material, etc.

No Warranties

While the Tutor is confident in her/his skills and teaching ability, the Tutor makes no promises or warranties with regard to a studentʼs performance as a result of any tutoring provided.
